ETS.com online listening practices are very helpful because the quality of the sound almost the same as the exam....after my third time experience (I worked on them only before the third exam,I got 20 and 21 in first two exams,so you guys can notice the difference) even reading practices on ets.com are helpful too but you needs alot of practice because raising reading level isn't easy specially that reading rely on vocabulary which is hard to raise your level in with 1-2 months.(all books that say that you don't really need to know alot of vocabulary...simply I don't agree with them the more you know vocabulary the easier the reading will be, you have to expand your vocabulary in different fields like history,biology and geology) kingtut I worked on longman for two times,first with the basic book which has 25 skills...it's very bad I got like 17 in structure in the first time with 3.5 in essay. then I tried the advanced book with about 60 skills....it took me like 2 weeks on that book with like 1-2hours per day...you won't beleive it but my score went down I got 16 on the structure in the 2nd time with 3.5 in essay,my fault on the 2nd exam that I only practiced on structure which isn't that important because it won't raise your score alot. in the third time I didn't practice on structure at all,I only used the grammer rules in 3-5 questions of the exam(it's differnet in this case from person to person),my score range 8-26 or 8-27 iam not really sure about it. after I read some threads here,I noticed that some people would like to know my essay subject so here it is: "about where I prefer to spend my leisure time indoor or outdoor and support my prefernence with examples" I think this type of essays topics that require you to talk about one side only...not compare GoodLuck for everyone

Hi guys, I just took the exam for the third time... I got 180-240 listening: 26 structure: 8-26 reading: 20 in the previous two exams i got 3.5 in my essay...in case i got the same now will I get 213 in total score? thanks,

I agree with Khadija if she didn't make typo miss here ;) that D is the right answer for question 1,because it needs subject and verb what I know that if sentence like this ...A..,..B... so there are two clauses and both of them should have subject and verb,or maybe a reduced clause. like: *Before deciding to have a surgery,you should get a second opinion. here deciding is reduced clause and the second clause has subject and verb(you + get) but what about this sentence ..A..,..B..,..C.. I know that C should resume the clause A like *The construction material,a rather grainy type of wood,gave the room rustic feeling. in this C resume the A clause with verb but what about B? does it needs subject and verb? and when B consider wrong? another sentence to clear my point: *the company president,needed a vacation,boarded a plane for the Bahamas. here needed should be needing but why? I thought that B has no effect on the A clause! thank you,,
