Good question, think "IfeMichelle" covered it - I didn't know that either. Any idea when you will go for TOFEL - I will most likely try in the new year possibly Feb time. No idea about internship either. I have to find out how to secure one first! Do they only recruit at certain time in the year? Do I need a visa in place before securing the internship? Sorry for the million questions

Hi - thanks for the message about the books.. I am looking to sit in October.. is now enough time to start revising or am I cutting it fine whilst working FT as well? Is there a particular focus I should spend time on? Kind Regards

No problem. Yes exactly that - I contacted my A-Level exam boards to ask for the transcripts (final certification of A level) to be sent to ECE exactly as the layout is requested in the FPGEC bulletin. I didn't bother going through my school - waste of time - they can't do anything for you. No, You don't need a letter from University stating you need A-Levels, once you send you Degree and A -Levels, ECE will figure it out, they are quite use to U.K qualification in this format. Well I was hoping to sit the April 2019 - but with the length of time it took for ECE and NABP to even approve the paperwork, I gave up on revising. Liek you it may be April 2010, unless I manage to get my butt into action for October! All the best.

Hi Fan Yes - original certificates from your A-Level examination boards with request to send them to ECE for collation of evidence who then submit to the NABP for review - is definitely required over any photocopies. It is all listed in the Bulletin too i fyou need any extra info. Hope it goes well.

Hi Fan, I started my application October 2018 - and NABP took about 6-7 months to get back with a certificate and letter to confirm I can apply for the FPGEE. ( I still haven't yet applied for the exam for various reasons) Overall my A- Level boards, acted very quickly in reply and sending the certifcates to the ECE - within about 4-5 weeks, and my FPGEC application, including obtaining a U.K. Based Notary was all done and processed within about a week. My e-mail address is artipunn@hotmail.com I didn't make the April exam and also didn't revise for it as the NABP took about 6-7 months to return paper work etc and the GPHC - UK Pharmacy license board also did something incorrectly, which I had to re-request. I am keen to sit October. I love that you're out there already - enjoying it? Please don't hesitate to get in touch

Morning Sandra - did you get anywhere with this? For the Proof of Licensure - I took this to mean, proof of your licensure with the Board of Pharmacy in your Home Country.. So here in the UK it would be proof of my registration as a Pharmacist with the UK General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Request from the board to send your license to NABP as per their instructions. You may have to pay a small fee for this

Morning - Snap , Same with my situation. Sent all the documentation and applied for conversion education via ECE, as requested. The report has come through but also I have not heard back or seen a status update on NABP e-profile. I have e-mailed NABP to see if there is any further update. Do you happen to know when the exam in April 2019 is? As above, I am looking for a study partner (UK based) or at least to start revising but difficult to know if I should start if I don't get accepted for the April examination. Kagun! Wow - I'm so excited for you and Thank you so much for replying to me!! It's massively appreciated. Well at the moment I have put the FPGEC application on hold because there has been no date release for April 2019 and I'm worried it will clash. Ideally New York would what I want - so I calculate 2800 as about 17 month internship? What is the compounding exam you talk of? Would you mind exchanging email address to talk over? I hope the exam goes well for you!! Have you done lots of preparation? Did you find it hard to apply and go through the process ? DId you do all this in the UK before flying out and setting up there ?? Is your current place of work something a U.K trained pharmacist can manage? I currently work for the NHs my exposure is primarily Hospital base. If I don't manage to hear from you - I wish you all the best for the exam, not too long away now and hope it all goes accordingly. Hi all, I am looking to convert my U.K qualification to US (New York specific if possible). I have noted the process is not very easy or straightforward to follow. I am aiming to prepare for the April 2019, to all enough time for myself to prepare the NABP application. However also have my brother's wedding (date unset) at this present moment but lingering around the month of April 2019. I called NABP for guidance of a specific date for April 2019 - but they couldn't advise me until October exam is done - Does anyone else have any idea when the April 2019 exam could be? I'm reaching out for two further things here: Firstly A study buddy in the U.K? :)I'm from the Birmingham area And also further guidance following sitting the Exam FPGEC... Does the TOFEL exam have to be sat in the US or any test centre around the world? I'm reading previous threads re: obtaining internships - how difficult is this? I wouldn't like to do al this work to find I would be applicable for an internship. Any feedback would be appreciated! Goodluck October exam sitters hope it goes well.

Hi I am looking to transfer my U.K pharmacy qualification to U.S standard - look to make it state specific to New York. I have only joined the NABP, made no payments or processed the application and highly doubt I will make the 2nd October examination with any preparation. Thus I am working toward April 2019 - taking my time in understanding what needs to get done, as the FPGEC make it quite difficult to process! Is there anyone from the U.K on the same pathway as myself - willing to buddy up? Please feel free to get in touch and let me know I would love to work together and help each other along. Also any users sitting the October exam - any idea when the April 2019 one is? I have called NABP who have not disclosed the date - but my brother is also getting married so I am little concerned about the dates.
