Hi there,
Please see my profile below:
Undergraduate in Accounting (not in North America) GPA: 3.3
Master in Accounting (top 3 in Canada) GPA: 3.3
Work Experience: 3 years +, Non-big 4 in Canada and got my CPA designation
GMAT 720
I made up my mind about PhD Accounting after I started working and I couldn't go back change the history. I saw my research related skills as a major weakness so I did a few online courses in econometrics, math for programming(not proof-based math), programming(python) and finance. My skill set is getting better but I don't think that will be good enough. So my questions are:
1. What do you think that I can improve with my profile?
2. I've been told how important math is for PhD in Accounting. But I'm not sure what are the other sources from which I can learn and, more importantly, prove that I got the math skill required. Can you please share some sources for math learning?
Thank you in advance for all your help!
