Considering they have barely sent out any acceptances and the waitlist is unusually long, it's difficult to say based on past years. Most likely, more candidates than usual would be accepted off the waitlist.

Same here. 0a/1r/0w/2ir/19p. Even though I am yet to hear back from most places, I feel I am not going to get anywhere. To avoid refreshing GradCafe every 2 minutes, I have started setting alarms to check GradCafe once every hour. It took some time, but it really helps to focus.

This is what I thought! All the same, makes it a brutal year to apply. I honestly was doubtful about applying this year but all my recommenders suggested that I should go for it. Even after applying for around 20 schools, I feel like I am not going to get anywhere. Just got a rejection from Irvine

UC Irvine is out
