Hello! My dream is to get my PhD in Accounting (I am interested in experimental and archival research related to financial disclosures, non-GAAP measures and SOX management) and attend a school like the University of Washington, USC, UT Austin or UC Illinois. I have a good background (I think) except for my GMAT score. - Undergrad dual degree BBA in Marketing and BS in Accounting (3.8 GPA) - CPA - 4 years at Deloitte in external audit serving one of our largest clients - 2 years in Internal Audit Manager at a Fortune 100 company - Genuine passion for research and super driven individual!!! - GMAT: 690 (Q47 V38) I am wondering if anyone knows if GMAT cutoffs at this caliber of schools is a real thing. I've heard rumors that the cutoff is 700 but with the applications due in December I'm not sure that I can realistically restudy in less than a month and get higher than a 700. I will definitely try but want to know my options if it doesn't work out. Please help!!!!!!!
