well i took it today.... what can i tell you....for me it wasnt so easy as i had only 6 days to prepare so basicaly i went to the test with my general knowledge about english... grammar was not too bad...but reading was a bitt difficult as i didnt know some words and i had to guess...like cherish... other than that i dont know what to tell you...i just did power prep and i scored the same there. and i read some grammar from Delta CD. good luck with your prep kmya

hi all.. i just finish my test, my total score was 207-263, listening was 26 structure i dont remember exactly..?- 28 reading was 24 my essay topic what would you chose: to raise a child in the countryside or big city...this was easy... guys i need a score of 237, do you think i can make that score? the essay topic was ok for me, i had 5 paragraphs, and in my opinion i think i can score at least 4 at the essay... i am so scared i dont know if i can make this score , i cannot take toefl at some other time bc of deadlines... can someone repply to me? i will realy appreciate.. any qs are wellcome

Hi guys, i am new to this forum, i just moved from the tse forum. I passed the dreadful tse and now i need to pass this toefl exam. My english is not too bad... i would like to know how should i start preparing for this test. i will take it at the end of may. can you still find a date then? i mean can we still take toefl in my? please let me know, and also what are the best books that we need to have thank you a lot. maggie

Hello guys , i cant believe that i passed i scored 50.....wow for the first time.. you guys remember me i took the march exam also and i got sick... i am also registered for april...i had my deadlines in april so i was so scared that i wouldnt pass in time.. guys, about my experience , all i can say is that God is great, only the prayers helped me....i still cant believe it.. i didnt prepare at all, i mean i was practising a few toefl essay and i was very busy with my medical exams study... i am here in canada for 4 years and i learnt english at my job place, when i first come i couldnt speak a word... anyway, about the exam itself, i was very positive i was going to fail... 3 questions i finished in in 30 seconds, i didnt say too much about the subject..i stumbled a lot for the word fuel, i couldnt remember the right pronuntiation... i said short sentences as i was very nervous. i was so scared of this test, i was only thinking that i have 2 more chances to go for the exam, and i didnt care too much. Guys i will let you know about my result for the test in march, in this exam as opposed to february one, i talked too much, in 3 questions i couldnt stop i run out of time. it was the exam in the mirror i had in febr..i was more confident so i will let you know what the score will be.. i certainly dont believe that i passed...God is great! thank you all guys if you have any qs please let me know. maggie

Hi, first of all i want to say hello to everyone here. I am a new member, i am a doctor and i am going to take the tse in Canada on febr 19th. I heard there is a book i can use, something like Toward speaking...is this a good book? And someone on this forum was saying about Bruno Hill TSE video demo, what are those and where i can find them. I only have 2 weeks to prepare for this exam, do you think i will make it? My english is my second language and i have problems with spontaneity. It is my first try, please guide me how should i approach this exam. Thank you very much
