  1. Offers are out. Although, a waitlist is still possible.
  2. would any chicago admits be willing to share the financial offer amount?
  3. Does anyone have any info about Stanford, Princeton WL? Anyone heard of people getting accepted?
  4. Congrats! If you don't mind, where did you commit?
  5. Out of curiosity, were all NYU WLs invited to attend the visit day (perhaps virtually)? Or was the invite only extended to some?
  6. Chicago sent out a google form to their WL with the standard questions about competing offers, etc. But the very last question on the form lays out the Chicago offer and asks bluntly: "Would you accept this offer?" with only three possible choices (yes, maybe, no). How confident should one be that they would actually accept in order to answer "yes"? I'm feeling a bit conflicted tbh, since I'm not totally sold on Chicago but also feel that answering "maybe" would hurt my chances.
  7. It's a bit of a long shot to ask here but does anyone happen to have info on admit/WL/yield numbers for top schools this cycle? All I know is Stanford yield (supposedly) up and some were cut from WL early, and NU/Chicago seem to have pretty long WLs. How about Princeton, Yale?
  8. Out of curiosity, were you invited to the NYU visit day virtually as a WL? If so when did you receive the invite?
  9. Do you mind sharing which school?
  10. I'm in a very similar situation, but with a different T5 school. So much randomness even between different schools.
  11. 1: MIT 2-6: Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Berkeley, Chicago 7-8: Yale, Northwestern 9-10: NYU, Columbia 11-19: Penn, UCLA, Duke, Michigan, Wisconsin, UCSD, Brown, Minnesota, Cornell
  12. Looking at gc from last cycle, NU sent some rejections+acceptances in the first wave but then waitlisted a huge number of everyone else...I wonder if that's what's happening again.
  13. Last year, Princeton did calls for the first time and some people thought they were trolls at first because they didn't call in the past. There's really no way to know unless we see a few more acceptances or someone can confirm.
  14. Have you tried checking your Wolverine account? The decision may be posted there under the New/Prospective Student section. If it's not, I would email admissions, it seems like all decisions should have been out for a while.
  15. Seems like those of us who did dual applications (with econ first choice, MECS second choice) haven't heard anything from econ yet. Since Kellogg MECS is already out, is it fair to say this was just a wasted application fee and there will be no second choice consideration? 😳
  16. It could just be a finance thing, since all the early dual applicant rejects seem to have chosen finance as their second choice program. But honestly, there's really no way to know for sure.
  17. UCLA did send at least some acceptances last night:
  18. Interview for H or M? Perhaps it's something new this year (I don't recall either of those interviewing econ applicants in years past but maybe things are changing). I don't think there would be a lot of posts "following" any Harvard/MIT acceptances, since if you look on gc they usually send out acceptances/waitlists first before waiting like a week or so to send out rejections. Given that only 3 people posted their Stanford acceptance on gc this cycle, that may be about all we get.
  19. I'm wondering if anyone can confirm the Northwestern acceptance on gc? There's just one posted for now.
  20. I doubt this is a first cut. So far, it sounds more like they're reviewing the dual applicants first.
  21. Can anyone who has heard from NU share whether they applied for a second choice program at Kellogg, or only to econ?
  22. There's a HBS busec interview posted on GC today. Cannot confirm it, but it seems legitimate since the timing matches that in previous years.
  23. It sounds like a small number of people received rejections but most people haven't heard anything. Unsure about acceptances. Anyone have any more info re: Berkeley econ?
