  1. Just got rejected off of it (but have heard it is unusually short this year)
  2. As far as I remember from my correspondence with Penn State, they don't have a standard visit day but individualise meetings for each student with faculty and current students once you write to them about your interests etc.
  3. Sure, received an email about two hours ago. Living stipend is about 25k for 5 years with TA/RA duties in years 2-5, additional summer fellowship of 7K for upto fourth summer conditional on satisfactory coursework/TA or RA work.
  4. Can confirm, received an offer
  5. Also does anyone have any info on when we can expect the MIT rejections? Just want an explicit rejection before I accept another T5 offer
  6. Same here... my best guess to explain this is area of interest fit/recommender connections to the program but aotherwise it truly feels like luck!
  7. Only email... nothing on my portal so far
  8. When declining an offer is it expected to give them a reason or let them know which offer I'll be accepting instead?
  9. Can confirm, also received an offer earlier today (definitely still in shock!)
  10. Nothing there either... it still says submitted
  11. Haven't heard anything either
  12. What is going on at Northwestern!!?? I'm SO confused
  13. Can anyone confirm the Yale acceptances?
  14. Rejection from Harvard and IR from MIT in the same day!? 😞
  15. Yup the nerves are real. At this point I'm almost beginning to feel indifferent to rejections because I just want the cycle to be over asap
  16. In the same boat and very worried. On a tangential note how do people generally rank the MECS program relative to other Econ programs? Would it be fair to consider it similar to other T20 programs for instance?
  17. Can anyone confirm the Kellogg MECS acceptances on GC?
  18. Can confirm only first round offers have been made from UWM a full round is to follow in late feb/early march. (Spoke to an adcom member)
  19. I was wondering if anyone here has had meetings with grad program coordinators or the adcom chair post receiving an acceptance and could share what such a meeting entails? Is it just about the details of the offer? I know this isn't like an interview but I have my one soon and quite nervous about it for some reason!
  20. I think possibly Duke and NYU besides the ones we expected last week
  21. I'm holding out the tiniest hope that this year is a bit different from other years due to the joint application which could lead to both departments doing multiple rounds but who knows at this point.
