If you space it out and help them cut through the uncertainty by providing some likelihood of you attending should an offer be made, I think, it keeps you on the radar and maybe helps. It's definitely a fine line to tread.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I emailed them since I had not heard anything and got a rejection. Official updates to be out in the next week or two, they say.
Same here. Not to put anyone's hopes up but I think they might be doing this in waves? Have seen all decisions on GC so maybe not all decisions are out yet.
In your case one way to think about this could be to ask yourself what besides growth interests you? Brown has a bunch of people in labor and education so if that is an interest you could fit this theme in a long-run growth perspective and work closely with the juniors who are likely to give more time and attention. At the same time you still have the blessings of Weil/Galor/Michalopoulos etc.
So yeah, I would look at the mix in school and decide.
From GC it seems like UCSD screwed up something at their application portal backend and revealed decisions in the most anti-climactic, bizarre fashion. Would be tragi-comic if this speculation turns out to be true
Think that must have been me. Same outcome as yours and I'd be lying if I don't feel played. Was expecting the rejection a month earlier and this raised my hopes up a tiny bit, only to be dashed eventually.
Mostly no news is not good news but with LSE and BU I am confused. BU is going to release decisions this week so maybe you're on to something. You can email and ask about your application status too..
Anyone here who applied to Harvard BusEcon and has not heard back? I am certain it's a rejection but find it strange that has not been communicated to me. It's been a while and any idea what could be going on?
Was interviewed for the other track so rest assured they are admitting students in other concentrations too. FWIW, I haven't heard back since the interview so who knows what's going on.
