  1. I would email the coordinator at the school you have an offer from and explain the situation—you can likely get some sort of extension until at least later in the afternoon. And, if you haven't already, contact the schools you're waiting on to try to get a sense of how likely they think you are to get an offer. If you get a dominating offer after the 15th, I think it's OK to (politely, apologetically) decline the offer you previously accepted.
  2. Hi All! Does anyone know much about the program at Vanderbilt? I have an offer from Maryland that strictly dominates Vanderbilt in terms of rankings, but, after visiting UMD, I can't help but feel like I would benefit from a smaller program. Vanderbilt's placements look good (especially relative to their own ranking), but they don't have a visit day this year, so I'm having a hard time getting a feel for the program. My letter writers don't seem to know much either, and what little info they do have is outdated. Does anyone have any thoughts? Much appreciated 😊
  3. Has anyone heard from UCLA? Someone said that they emailed last week and were told that if you hadn't heard by the end of the week that you're likely rejected, but I haven't seen nearly enough acceptances on grad cafe to make me convinced that they're done with offers/waitlists.
