  1. I did receive the AWA Score two weeks ago. I got 5 out of 6. Quite frankly, I expected a higher score, but it is not that bad. :)
  2. I used one reference form from the Career Services Office at my undergrdaute institution, Ohio Wesleyan, and gave it to the people who agreed to write references for me. Most schoool recommendations were identical to it. So, the professors filled it out and sent it back to the Career Services Office. The CS office sent copies of the confidential references to all schools that I applied to. It saved a lot of time for the people who wrote references for me; most schools are not picky what forms you use as long as the reference aswers all of the questions asked on the original form. Thanks.
  3. Well, there were a lot of questions from coordinate geometry, questions about slopes, etc. I thought the review in the Kaplan's book appendix captures all that you need to know for the math section. The rest is being able to figure out how to use that knowledge and solve the problem quickly. :-) Good luck!
  4. Erin, Do you happen to know what the URL address of these forums are? I am curious about my chances with my GPA, GREs, etc. Thanks so much! -Plamen Nikolov
  5. I just took the GRE and got the following scores: Verbal: 700 Math: 740 As I took the test yesterday, I do not know my AWA score, yet. Although I am unhappy with my performance on the Math section, I thought the test was somewhat difficult given the time constraint and the question types. I noticed a lot more algebraic series questions than what I had expected to see in the math portion(based on practice tests). The verbal was pretty close to practice tests from Kaplan & Princeton Review. I will be more than happy to help with additional information to the extent possible. Plamen Nikolov Washington, DC
