  1. "D" or "A" A, C & E : Seems to suggest that "state on the Malabar Coast, which reflects ........ India’s most literate citizens" B : and after the coma in this case is wrong. In this case " D" seems right Another school of thought : There are more than forty newspapers published in the cities of Kerala,..,which reflects the fact that Keralans are by far India’s most literate citizens. In this case "A" seems to be right answer..!!?? I think I am gonna pick "A"
  2. D & E Q 2 "chemical banned on medical grounds in the United States" - A "chemical banned in the United States on medical grounds" - E I like the sound of E.
  3. C & A For the first Q, C & D seems close, but " companies" does not fit.... For the 2nd Q, Everything except A seems absurd
  4. "A". Agree with you. All the others change the meaning of the sentence. In B & C "freedom to him" does not seem right at all. D & E seem outright wrong.
  5. One doesn't share a heritage/background as someone else, One has the same background/heritage as someone else. "C" is the only choice which uses "....have the same ethnic heritage as...." It seems like since might be a better fit than because in the sentence..
  6. Q43 - Approx 32-33 correct responses V31 - Approx 21-22 correct responses V27 - Approx 20-21 correct responses The final GMAT score comes from adding total number of correct responses. From the above numbers you will see why there is a small difference in your 2 scores. Remember that the Q and V scores that ETS gives you are scaled scores. Scaled scores are proportional to the number of correct responses, but the proportionality constant is probably a 4th order equation. Good Luck
  7. I got 580 on my diagnostic test (Barrons-13th edition) 1. I got 25/41 on verbal and 29/37 - what percentile would this be.? 2. I am concerned with my low score, is this typical on a diagnostic? Will I be overshooting, if I am aiming for 750 and starting with 580 on diagnostic. Any comments, advice, info would be appreciated. :o
