hi!!!!!!!! Can anyone tell me how much does it take for the final result of toefl to come ??? I took the test on 27 aug but hven't received the result. thanks divya

yeah exam was okay listening and structure was pretty easy I found reading a bit difficult like I never thought I would commit 7 mistakes in reading. I got 30 questions on listening, 20 on structure and 44 on redaing got an essay " whether having a close realtionship ith ur pets fine. why or why not" I wrote 5 pssages on it but the language was quite simple I didn't use much of vocab. Got L-----------25 S----------13-29 R---------- 23 i would say that one should be very well prepared with rc and concentrate a lot onlistening section struture was fine shiana But I saw many people who got 203-260 and got a final score of 250 with a 4.5 in essay . R u sure????

Just finished my toefl and got a score of 203-260. I need 250. How much do I need in essay to scroe 250? Thanks.

Do you agree with the following statement? Teachers should make learning enjoyable and fun for their students Use reasons and specific examples to support your opinion. Many people believe that learning should be done in a serious and quite envirnoment. However, I believe that teachers should make the learning enjoyable and fun for their students for the following reasons. First reson for supporting the argument is that it is human nature that the thing which interests is easily grasped. For the students to grasp a thing easliy and quickly the teachers should create a congenial environment for that. By congenial environment I mean a fun loving atmosphere like for example setting puzzles to solve the boring math problems. The second reason for my belief is that the thing which is done practically is not easily forgotten. For exmple to learn history can be quite boring but doing a project report for it can be quite interesting and a good learning experience. Perhaps the best reason for my belief is that practice makes a person perfect . If the teachers make the students do the work practically learning can be more exciting and refreshing. The students have the oppurtunity to do the work there and then its like the an on-the -job training and can be fun. For example to add on to the vocabulary the teachers can make their students play scrabble like this they will have practice to new vocablury and learn a lot. For all the above reasons I believe that the learning should be made fun loving and enjoyable as long as the decorum of the class is being maintained.In such a environment the students learn and interact more with each other.

Hi guys, At last its over aah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sat for my gmat yesterday and made it.I wanted anything above 500 and got 510(q 39, v21). It is sufficient for me to get into the MSA program.I had a long struggle it started on 7th march and ended 27th july.Before this I sat for the test on 18th june I only think that was not my day coz I landed up with only 420(q 35 v13).I got little panicy last time. I knew that it was not my score not the one I deserved no the one my hard work deserves. But forget it .This time I had a more focused approach. I worked on my rc which I know improved a lot than last time.I did a lot of quant from Kaplan, og (3times).i think it was OG that helped me throughout. Now let me share my experience with u:::::::::::::::::: QUANT::::::::: First 5 probs were okay types but after that the probs became tougher and tougher I got 4 probability ques, 3 coordinate geo but there was no SD this time.I got a lot of percent problems this time which I had practiced a lot.DS questions testing the rules of integers etc. But my overall experience for quant was okay. VERBAL:::::::::::: After getting tough prob in maths I thought that I have bombed the maths section but I decided not to give as I did the last time.In the break after the quant section I went to restroom and standing in front of the mirror I gave promised myself not to backout come what may.first questions were 3 scs and then one rc which was okay.I got 4rcs one 80 liner , two 45 liners and one 60 liner. As I said earlier my verbal is weak I must have got very easy ques so I thought that I have done good in verbal but it was a diff case. Anyways I got It and now its over . I will no more have sleepless nights and stuff.a gr8 burden has been lifted off. Stuff which did was for verbal sahil’s notes, spideys notesa lot of og , 1000sc ques .1000 cr ques and rc Quant was mainly I concentrated on Kaplan and og But I think that it is only and only ur endurance and balance of mind which takes u thru this difficult test. This is my personal experience. I think u have scored reasonably good in quant section ........ I wish i would have got that score.I took the exam in june and got 420(q35,v13).If with this much of panic and anxiety as u say u can score 40 in quant then i must say that just be cheerful about ur performance in that section. As far as verbal is concerned i think that there is no guide on this earth which can replicate the g-mat verbal.I was veru confident as far as verbal is concerned during my first attempt but it was shattered completely.For rc i think do what really works for u.See what i do is just read the first qs and then give a two minute reading to the whole passage and just understand what it says right so far so good then as the qs approach i look for them in the passage i think it has somehow worked for me try working it may by it is of any help to u. and finally have faith in GOD All the best Divya
