    Solve these

Challange: 1. The positive divisors of the integer n > 1 are d1 2. Find all values of the positive integer n which has at least four distinctive positive divisors d1,d2,d3,d4 such that 0
  2. We came to a common ground. This my logic, and correct me if mistaken: 1. If there is a God, how can you prove it 2. God is principally invisible intangible and doesn't follow physical or scientific rationale 3. How did God leave the extant religions fraught with all this malarky (Six days creation, Adam, Eve, No evolution, Life is few thousand years old, no ancestors or pre-human life, etc 4. Why the hell there are all these religions vying for neophytes and demonizing each others (very good question Coolpaggy asked) If one of them is true, then why God is waiting. Is he just gloating us ridiculing religions. 5. What is the reason of creation then, did God wanted to enjoy his time making the universe and putting his creatures in test. Is he making fun of us or what. And put more salt to the wound, you are supposed to extol and coddle the baby lest he should inundate you with his wrath. 6. Consider the concept of heaven and hell. Those who believed in him will be saved and the others, including me, will enjoy a lake of fire. I did not hurt anybody to get this dreadful destiny and if someone above wants me to believe he should speak the same logic I understand. 7. Where will animals go. Theistic religions say they will turn into dust. No heaven or paradise. Why? because they are animals. LOL. Those who invented religions did not know what animals have the physiological tracts to feel pain, hunger, and suffer pretty well when we kill them to feed on their tissues. This is just bull****. Let's be honest, this life let the fittest live. And to live flatly entiled feeding on the weaker creatures. Religions and Gods, as can be inferred, were a trial to extricate humankind from all the sensual and materialistic desires that is pretty much an ingrained constituent of human nature. Human development evolved to enact laws that prevent the stronger feeding on the weaker. Religions, as they stand now, are a pretext to flout these laws.

No, but they had Gods in these days.:D
  4. 1. It is elusive because judging the existence of God doesn't follow any rationale. It is a belief, take it or leave it. Leave it if you can't suspend your rational reasoning, take it if you are able to muzzle your consciousness and to accept facts that can ever never be verified. 2. Reactor's citation of Murphy's law is absolutely AWSOME. So disillusioning and attacking. I subscribe to his opinion and no comments. 3. Charavaks's philosophy as in this link http://banglapedia.search.com.bd/HT/C_0143.htm is disenchanting and a plausible leap beyond this sacred humbug. The dependence on inference and senses only is, well, a categorical scientific basis. However, I don't like the sensual hedonist things. These guys always catered, or precisely pandered, to their followers. This philosophy belongs to its time anyways. 4. I agree with you on the first part - there is nothing whatsoever up there except for the universe. I agree as well about the prejudicial concept of the big guy up there that needs coddled and praised to placate his/her/its megalomania, irrespective to your earthly travails. Your argument of energy within and conquering desires to be a God is a little bit similar to the religious concepts we descried above. It is as simple as our existence now. Our ancestors had the 'will' and 'determination', name it energy, to fight the unfavourable environment and other species. All human achievements are well grounded in determination and luck, which accounts to the random part of life, no God here. Let's pigeonhole Gods and PSI energy and these things, it is just hardworking and luck. 5. The Upanashadas notion of a dude up there and man is a God himself plays on similar chords samy. A God or sacred invisible fuming bugaboo there that you should believe in. Buddhists don't care about God. I discussed it with many Buddhists friends here, they believe of incarnation and gaining experience from earthy life and finally you will become a Buddha yourself. If Buddhism makes any sense, it is by the virtue of relinquishing the holy bugaboo. Admittedly, Buddhism is very popular and gaining ground in North America. It is the most sensible religion out there. 6. You smacked the main point. Excellent question. Yeah, religions are mainly preaching peace, self-denial, and moral concepts. But, paradoxically, every follower believed in the doom of others and the salvation of oneself. In fact religions are not that beautiful once you penetrated the veneer. The next question about why the hell did GOD permit their coexistence and did not ''eliminate'' the faux ones? I have no idea and the best dude to answer is GOD himself. Religion is indeed a point of contention and once the notion dissolved, as in pace with human development, it will deprive humankind of an excuse to practice repression on other humans :) Closure: To recap, I think most of us don't believe in the revered bugaboo. The rest is in the limbo between denial and acceptance due to cultural or familial traditions. Religions were once a convention invented by humankind to achieve internal peace and soothing. The notion evolved to a pretext to practice prejudice and repression on other humankind. Now, I think it is receding into the history blackhole.

yeah. dese guys had stubborn patience in dis ancient time.
  6. Some say it is the only absolute truth in the universe. Others, including me, think of God as a revered superstition which originated deeply with human evolution. Someone above that helps and watches you is a fascinating idea. What do you think ?

  12. The world mocked Einstein at the onset. Don't detract an idea that looks eccentric because all novel ideas looked firstly so ;). break a leg Suja, I think, following this mindset, the third theory will be about the existance of God :)

    Human Dormancy

Hey guys, Yesterday I was reading the biography of Alfred Nobel. I can tell from the glum and dismal hailing milieu this generation experienced that our generation is being 'pussified' by the current luxurious life style. I conveyed this impression to a physicist friend who told me a stunning piece of fact. The contribution Newton, Maxwell and Einstein delivered is way beyond that of any contemporary Nobel laureate. In fact this very generation effected a radical change upon the academic society in there time. He also argued that the current human achievement and discoveries in physics is approaching saturation, or maturity name it. I counterargued that this was identically the common belief in the era before Newton and in the first half of the 19th century. We came up with the theory that the human development is treading an ON/OFF pattern. Currently, at least in physics, we are crawling the flat berm on our way uphill. It is kinda of we are ruminating and cogitating the previous breakthroughs and then once off this 'Dormancy era', there will be another gaping breakthroughs. What do you think?
