PP1 I did very badly V600 and Q660 PP2 it was better but still V660 Q760 On the paper tests I never really scored them all together but consistently would get almost perfect in the Quant...i think the paper versian is easier on the brain...u know where the hard questions are you know?

The research section was WEIRD...I didn't attempt it but they are testing this new thing where you can pick two different answers for the verbal (fill the blank, which two words would work) LOOOOOOOOOOOOONGER RC sections. They also had this new thing for verbal where you had 3 boxes 3 words per box, you had to pick 1 word out of every box that followed.... I didn't study barrons i couldn't find it here...I studied DUMB DUMB DUMB Princeton Review book... but honestly I didn't put much time into studying... I don't know if I should do it again....do i want to risk getting worse...but I need better on Quant...(Econ) For Verbal make sure you do as many analogies as you possibly can from the practice book that ETS makes

V560 Q710... Verbal: was VERY tough...it got to this one fill in the blank question (my favourite) and IT WAS HARD...after that the questions got kind of easy so I knew I screwed it up... I should have reviewed more... Quant: I made VERY stupid mistakes..... I want to beat myself up for it...no Std deviation or probablity... just some WEIRD questions...i have blocked it out of my memory right now otherwise I would jot them down... just make sure to do a lot of easy simple questions with tricky little things... Issue: about technology & culture Argument: about dept of education outlawing homework (i wish). any questions?

for August 31st... how messed up am i with 2 jobs, and 4 classes.... ugh.... and verbal ....maybe I should push it further? what do you all think??? man o man...i hope my gpa comes up so i can actually GET INTO a grad school...

wow that is awesome! hmm...but you did have work experience....so maybe thats whatmade the difference... (i am kicking myself for my low GPA) so it is possible to get into a good phd program coming from a CS school? your experience sounds awesome...I want tomake some connections with profs...I don't know if that would be agood idea thnx!

do NOT go with kaplan as far as I have heard.... testmasters is good and powerscore as well..( as far as i know)

RedBullGUy, thank you so much for your response...I needed to hear that! 1) I am going into my fourth year of Undergrad...most deadlines for gradschools is like end of january..they won't see marks from 2 solid good semesters...which sucks! 2) Is where you get your MA really important in terms of going for your ph'd? 3) getting advanced math courses will they pull the M.A admissions team? 4) Would you recommend actually going this summer to a few of the states and visitng some schools personally? Making friends with the admissions team...sitting in on a few classes, meeting profs? Do they let you do this? would u recommend it? has anyone here done it??? How many schools should I apply to? How many did you guys apply to? I am so lost... thank you!!!
