    Kaplan???

Yeah, zen711, it is somewhat harder. But be prepared for a test with no pattern at all (at least in the Quantitative Section) , and with this in mind, Kaplan is a good way to practice your math abilities!!! ;-) Keep on working!!!!!
  2. Yes, shawn, I felt the same. I saw even statistics problems when I did the test! It's a kind of "mutation", for better or for worse!!!!!!
  3. Really nice, Erin!!! Next step: "The Oscar goes to..." RCMV
  4. Dear Nayanika, The answer seems correct to me. If the total amount purchased is 100, the first statement provides enough information to solve the problem, because there's no other possible solution (2 items - $20; 3 items - $30).Thus, the second statement only gives additional but unnecessary information. XXXX, RCMV Correction: The only possible is (2-$20; 2-$30)...sorry!!!!! []'s Rcmv
  5. Actually I'm from Rio, but now I live in Rio Grande do Sul, the southest state of Brazil. Tell me, What were you here for??? In fact, a three-year vacation is not for everyone. :D BTW, I'm glad you speak Portuguese because if my English fails... []'s RCMV
  6. Erin, thanks again!! Talking about your "Printable Toefl Exercises", at the top of the page is written "1,000 HARD TOEFL Structure Questions".....is this a book???? If so, who's the author? I'm asking because I did a brief "net search" looking for this "title" with no success!!!! []'s Renato
  7. Erin, first of all thanks for helping us... Here's another question from your printable... 10. Architect and founder of the University of Virginia, Thomas Jefferson built his house Monticello overlooking the campus in Charlottesville, Virginia. 1) Why the correct answer is B (built)???? 2) Monticello...what is it??? Sorry but the sentence seemed a bit illogical to me. Thanks, RCMV
  8. Erin, could you please help with this one from your "Printable Toefl Exercises"??? 5. Most of American high school students claim they know how to read, yet many of them can not do so at a high enough level to participate in modern society. Thanks, RCMV
