Qs : k is not 0,1,-1 Is 1/k > 0 ? 1. 1/k-1 > 0 2. 1/k+1 > 0 1 is suff. how about 2nd? Soln: check for 2nd: What if K = -2,2 1/k = -0.5 whick is > -1 1/k = 0.5 whick is > -1 so you really dont know whether 1/k > 0. I hope this solves ur problem ~ invincible
