  1. I had 0 preparation and I signed up for a prep course with Princeton Review. All I can say is it really helped my score. I am taking the test in June. I started with a 149, and on my last practice test I got a 165. I would say take a class with Princeton Review if you can, they are one of the few courses that use only 100% legit LSAT questions. But the only way to improve is to practice practice practice.
  2. Figure out what tier law school you want to go to. Ivy league level schools are in the 170+ range. Top 50 schools are usually 165+. However so many people are applying to law school now, that in order to get a shot at any decent law school you probably do have to be in the 160+ range. You should check out princetonreview.com, they have some more information about law school, and the gpa and lsat ranges for most US law schools.
