Hi, My GRE score is too low (total 960; V - 310 & Q - 650). I have decided to give GRE test once again. I need 1200+ score Please help me in this regard, How to start the preparation? How can I improve the test score? How much time I need to prepare for the test? Actually i am working with in R & D and i am not able to give whole day for the preparation. I heard that from September 2005 toefl format is going to be changed. Now ETS is going to add new section i.e. speaking. Is it sure that it will come in September in India? Because I have TOEFL on 19th sept. Plz reply me ASAP.

Hi sweet_yoghurt The Score does not depend on how much question is right , some time it also happen that just 5 or 6 are wrong and u get a score of 400 . so it is totally depend on the difficulty level . If your first 12-13 questions are right then , u can get good score. But thing is ur all the 12-13 must be right. so, u just forget that u have to crack 23 or 25 queston from 28 , but u have to crack first 12-15 question correct and concentrate more on first 12-15 question , coz these question will only decide your score. Today morning I had Kaplan and u know guys I scored 750 in Q. now tomorrow I have again anther test. So, my score is now improving. Thanx, guys for boosting my confidence. hi guys, i am seriously scared today, I was getting good scored in math section in the paper pencil based GRE tests like barrons, & bigbook. I was getting 750+ in Q section. But 2day morning first time I was having computer based GRE test and I scored just 550 in Q. I just astonished and scared what will happen in the real GRE? What should i do ? i have GRE test on 22nd july .please guys advice me.

He also puts forward that eventhough they make only 10% of the characters, they are responsible for the one- fifth of all crime on t.v. shows. The statement by the author is erroneous and contains various flaws. Firstly, the author writes that only 10% of character on dramatic role is played by bussiness people and then he is comparing that with the statement that they are responsible for the one -fifth of the crime on t.v. shows.This is the flaw, because this might not be a point. It might be that bussinesspeople roles shown in romantic role may be polite and eqaully romantic but the other t.v. shows might be dealing with crime stories related to businesspeople which might have caused this circumstances. Secondly, the facts are not given in figure form, the author writes 10% of character but how much of 10% of 10? or 1000? This is very large difference andalso one fifth of all t.V. shows,but how much number of shows. Third flaw of the statement, the author writes about the survey conducted of t.v. producers and writes that only 35% of roles of bussiness people are viewed positive, but they might be the case that remaining roles might not be negative there might be various reason. Thus, in conclusion, the staterment doesn't reveal any proper meaning and is erroneous and abstruse for the reader. If the author have included proper numbers and then given percentage. And also the author fails to explain that negative image of the bussiness people is solely due the t.v. Also there might be fact that,recently any scams has been occured invloving a bussinesspeople,thus deteriorating their image in public and t.v. have nothing to do with that. But as of now lacking such reasons, the statement is full of flaw and thus is dufficult to understand. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
