Hi, any advice is appreciated... I wasn't planning to apply for any of the top 10 b-schools, but after getting my results from the GMAT (740), thought that I'd give it a go. Here is the problem: My undergrad results are crappy..about 3.1, how much impact will this have on my application to the top 10 schools? Am I out of luck?

Actual GMAT 740 (Q48,V44) Peterson: 760, 660 Did not like this one...a couple questions showed up with the answers crack: 680, 685, 650, 685 My favorite one, learned the most...best official GMAT predictor...just add about 60 points Powerprep: 720, 730 Just like the official test Kaplan: 620, 610, 590, 640 My second favorite 800score: 700, 720, 790, 690
