Hi, I also gave my information to prontopass. I was worried to give it, but think I will need the last minute material. Prontopass are proffesionals,so they will not lose their reputation by doing some thing wrong with our information. In addition, my best friend went to Ohio and did the 3 months Naplex preparation. He said very good things about Buzz and his team. You don't need to worry about your information given out to them. Prontopass must be prudent. He is just protecting his bussiness.

I studied Mana Shroff management book back when I took FPGEE. It has a section on Pharmacoeconomics which most of it is formula. Why do you worry about Pharmacoeconomics since NAPLEX exam covers a small portion of it?

Have you tried Mana Shroff management book? It has Pharmacoeconomics chapter. Pharmacology Patho Physiology Approach by Dipiro has one chapter that covers Pharmacoeconomics.

Dear prontopass users, We have invested money buying prontopass material, but there is so much information to be memorized. If you buy your Pronto pass first hand, Buzz ( the owner of Prontopass) will quiz you over the phone and send you the last minute material as a loan for 14 days before taking the naplex. I have the prontopass material ( still reading it). It is worth the 500 $. In addition, I feel if you buy it second hand, the person may keep some posters or cards for him/ her self. Just buy it new!

I am doing my internship in a private pharmacy. I met so many pharmacists who come to ask for hours to work because the chain pharmacies where they work don't give them 40 hours a week despite their full time status. It is not that easy as we think it is.

Hours working as Pharmacy Intern does not count toward Internship in chaine pharmacies. Some chaines do not promote technicians to interns.

Fpgeetaker, I want to thank you for your valuable tips regarding the writing part of the Toefl IBT. I followed your strategies that you posted and got 28 in the writing. My writing used to be bad before I read your posts. Nabp didn't leave as much choice other than keep fighting with the Toefl ibt. Good luck

Rite Aid cut off 3 hours from Pharmacists and Techs' time by closing their pharmacies at 6.00 pm on Saturday instead of 9.00 pm. Other pharmacies cut back on technicians' hours leaving the pharmacists work by themselves during rash hours.

That is good Nataly. That what we all are suppose to do. Send complain after another to ETS. At some point they should get themselves straight. However, we are tired of fighting in two fronts: NABP and ETS. This waiting time till next spring is a killer.

Dear Emac, Nabp made it clear that they don't want to receive any letters or complains while they are making their decision. We will see what NABP will come up with and will act accordingly; however, ETS needs to hear from us.

This is the season where ETS lowers the rescores. Call them and complain.

ETS is a bad guy. Doesn't matter how low the requirements will be, still ETS will make it hard to reach.

Dear Nataly, The rating system doesn't follow any pattern. Ets is playing games, and NABP should not beleive that the TOEFL IBT is the adequate test to test our languistic ability. Last night I took the test again. I finished it arround 2.00 P.M because my screen was freezing (No body seems to care). Right now we have no choice other than wait till 6 February.

Personally, I would not like to see my worst enemy going through the hurdle of the Toefl IBT. Your 26 Kemo is a pure luck. Go back to take the test again, and you will not get 26. By the way Corneflakes, When I called the ETS to complain about my very last score, The lady was very nice and connected me to the supervisor. He said that the required 26 is a very high score and that the raters are looking for something that he is not going to tell me. We talke about how can we check the volume but not the microphone, his answer ofcours didn't make a sense. We also discussed the rescoring system and how the score changes from 18 to 24 or higher and vice -versa. The supervisor's answer was that the raters are different. I said, " aren't they looking for the same things? How come one rater find it and the other did not?". He ofcours could not answer. I ended up by thanking him and hung up.
