Hello dear;
I have been with this forum since I registered to pass the FPGEE. Now I am a registered pharmacist and I was wondering if I can get some help regarding applying for job.
First of all, it has always been a pain that Americans do not know what we go through as a foriegn pharmacist. So if you live in a small town, it's most likely to be discredited because you have not been graduated in US.
Now I have started to apply for chains, and at walgreens job page, there is nowhere to download your resume and say who you are. Instead, it asks you WHER HAVE YOU BEEN GRADUATED? ohhh, another pain. What do I say? as soon as I say university of ..... out of country I may be ingnored? I feel so depressed about it. Who knows if you lie? But the problem is I can never lie.
I have hired somebody to make me a resume. But there is big gap between my graduation out of the country and my license date in US (we all have to go through hell all these years to be the same in US). So what do I say? Do I say I have also graduated with the NABP in IL since we all regraduate with NABP? Then what would be my regraduation date? the date I passed FPGEE or the date I got my license?
Has anybody else gone through the same issue? If yes, please contact me and let me know. Any sample resume would be appreciated.
Anybody has applied the chain pharmacies?
Thanks again.
