  1. Thanks for everyone's replies. I agree with you all- there is no substitute for good 'ol practice and studying. I think I will keep trying to do it on my own (with guidance from all the wonderful people on here) and see how it goes. Thank you all so much for your input! Angela
  2. I am thinking about taking a GRE weekend prep course, and I am wondering if it is going to be worth the money. They are typically 35-40 hour weekend courses, and cover all aspects of the GRE and offer tricks/tips. Has anyone taken one? Did you find it helpful and which company did you take? Thanks, Angela
  3. Hi, I am just beginning to study for the Quant section for the general GRE exam. I have nooo idea where to start and which books are best. Does anyone have any preferences with respect to books or know any great websites online? many thanks, Angela
  4. Hello, I will be writing my GRE at the beginning of December, and I am wondering if anyone has some tips for studying and writing the actual exam. - I plan on writing the general test one month before....Nov 1st approximately. Is this enough space inbetween exams? I am also going to be starting my thesis and taking 4 other courses as well. Is this going to be too much work to study for GRE's? - did you find reading an intro psyc text book very helpful when studying? What other techniques did you use? Did you review a stats/research methods book? Any help is appreciated! Angela
