As a learner what content or features would you want in an app / website to master word lists for SAT/GMAT . Think beyond root words, suffix prefix, flash cards etc.

It's going to be tough to build something that others don't have already. I personally like using Anki for remembering various bits of information, so I'd suggest spaced repetition.
This guy has built a pretty cool app as well. It has good art, good words and definitions, and incorporates some spaced repetition: Vince's GRE Vocab Cartoons on the App Store
