    Two weeks for me, but that was consistent with the timeline in the department offer letter. The forum posts seem to infer the range varies wildly, though.

    Anecdotally , I'm not surprised at all. While I believe you are referencing women in academia, I see / have heard this among several quite successful women in the professional world.
