The number of students who attend a school could be divided among 10, 12, or 16 buses, such that each bus transports an equal number of students. What is the minimum number of students that could attend the school? (A) 120 (B) 160 © 240 (D) 320 (E) 480 hello, I am unable to find the answer to this with the formula lcm = P*Q/GCF. Can someone tell why?

Decision day is a little bit over a month away. Unfortunately, I did not get into my top choice so the decision about where to attend is not a clear-cut one. Thus, I'm seeking advice. What do you think are important factors, general or specific, to consider when choosing the school you want to attend? What should I ask during Virtual Visit Days and meetings with faculty? Do you recommend I speak to anyone besides the faculty? As an undergrad, I might overestimate/underestimate the importance of certain factors or entirely missing them, so I would love to hear others' thoughts and personal experiences about what they think is relevant. Many thanks!

I was wondering if anyone (especially econ professors) have any idea how COVID-19 may impact the number of accepted students being able to actually attend next fall? If international students cannot attend (e.g. are not able to come into the US next year) is there a chance a school may reach out to formerly waitlisted students? Is it worth me reaching out to such a school (I was rejected off the waitlist for my favorite)? Also, what are the odds that we would have to do online learning this fall? Thanks again for all the advice!

All else being equal id prefer to attend a program near my hometown. As I think your social support network motivates you to do better work, and if there is a good school with strong research fit, why move? Obviously the first reason applying to a program is research fit. But after that, should you emphasize in your SOP that the school location is an additional reason why you want to attend their specific program?

I'm planning to attend the open house event organized by Virginia's Econ department next week. Anyone on this forum also plans to attend? BTW, I booked a 2 double beds room at an on-campus hotel. I'd like to share the cost if you are looking for a room. Thank you!
