Hi, I am an international student (Iran) and I want to apply for masters or Ph.D. degree in economics in Canada. But I am in a complicated situation. my bachelor degree is in Mathematics with a low GPA (2.50/4). I changed my field for masters and studied economics with a great GPA (4/4). (both in on of the best universities in Iran). I prefer to study masters of economics again in Canada. But honestly, I don't know it is the right decision or not. My bachelor GPA is lower than all the university requirement. if I apply for masters degree again would they consider my masters GPA or Bachelor GPA? Am I eligible to be admitted to one of the universities? Furthermore, If I want to study Ph.D., how much my undergraduate GPA is important?

Hello everyone. I want to do a change of career in 180 degrees. This year I received my bachelor degree in law, and I hope to star the next year a four-year bachelor program in economics (from a Chilean university, with a strong math preparation) My main concern consists in the age at which I would be ready to apply to a Phd program, which will be 30. Is it too late to give it a try? What I want to do is, eventually, research/work in the development economics field and/or economic history. Thanks in advance.

Hello, First of all, apologies if this has been asked millions of times before. I'm in my final year of my (three-year) BA program in the UK and have applied to a few Econ PhD programs in the US, but have heard from a friend that British students are usually required to get a Masters before US schools even consider them. Can anyone confirm? Top 5% of class in UK; GRE 800Q / 660V / 5.5AW; applying to NYU, Yale, Berkeley. Thanks a million ;)
