The following are topics included in the course that I'm considering taking: "Metric spaces, differentiation of functions of several real variables, the implicit and inverse function theorems, Riemann integral on Rn, Lebesgue measure on Rn, and the Lebesgue integral." Is it worth taking? I already took Honors Analysis 1 and received a good grade. The course topics included are: "Properties of the real number system, sequences, continuous functions, topology of the real line, compactness, derivatives, the Riemann integral, sequences of functions, uniform convergence, infinite series and Fourier series." Thanks.

If f(x)=(f(x−2))(f(x−1))(x) forx>0 and f(x)=1 for all x Part of the solution advises to fill in the first few terms: f(0) = 1 f(1) = 1 f(2) = f(1) * f(0) * 2 = 1 * 1 * 2 = 2 etc. However, I don't understand how they came to f(0) = 1, when I calculate it I get zero. here's my work f(0) = (f(0-1)*(f(0-1)(0) = 0...i know in the question stem it says that x>0 but how can you get 1 from f(0) when you fill in the function and get zero and not one...what am I doing wrong? Any input would be greatly appreciated. f(5 x

hi there , i found my self lost in part of Graphical functions , when we find a graph show a function , is this f(x) = ........ mean the shape of the lines take as coordinates in xy plane is intersect like that , or functioned like that ,i'm just didnt get the concept behind graphical function , so to make things more clear for my self and for you , this is simple example of ets site so what is the meaning here of y = f(x) , and here is the question about it
