Hello, I am taking the GRE in July 2011, and I was wondering if you guys could clarify some of my doubts: Is the Barrons GRE Book and GRE PowerPrep (exclusively) enough to ace the test (with respect to content)? Are we supposed to type or write the essays? What is the minimum score required to get admission into a good university for Computer Science courses? Is validity of my score university-specific? I will be graduating in 2013 (taking the exam in July 2011). Are calculators/watches allowed during the test? Need a few tips before I formulate my study strategy (haven't started studying). On a related note, I would like to share a Google Chrome Extension that I wrote to help me prepare for the GRE-Verbal section. The extension displays 10 random GRE-words from the High Frequency List, along with their meanings. You can click on any word to go to its dictionary.com page for in-depth study. Installation: Go here. After clicking on the download link, Chrome will display a prompt message at the bottom. Click on Continue. The extension is now installed! Please give me your feedback and suggestions. Awaiting your replies/answers to my doubts. Thank you for your time.
