1. I am preparing for IELTS, and since all centers are closed due to COVID-19 I can not get my writings assessed (I do not find online teaching comfortable). I have written this essay and I wonder if someone here who has experience in IELTS can assess it for me: QUESTION: Nowadays celebrities are more famous for their glamour and wealth than for their achievements, and this sets a bad example to young people. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? MY ANSWER: Celebrities are being widely well-known all around the globe. They gain their reputation essentially from being prosperous and chic. This essay will discuss whether they deserve their publicity or not, in addition, it will debate the influence of celebrities on young people. ------------------------------------------------- It is no arguing that lights are being shed on celebrities such as actors and singers more than any other group of people, even scientists, and writers, although they do have a great impact on our lives. So, celebrities may have a greater role in forming young people personalities. Hence, young people may grow up believing that it no problem to judge a book by its cover. Since they always see famous people being treated well due to the cars, jewelry, and the money they own, regardless of their ethics and moral values. Despite some celebrities are good and do purposeful work, others do not have a message to work for, which makes it hard for families to persuade their children that living without a target is a bad thing. ----------------------------------------------------- Looking at our society nowadays leads us to an obvious result, in youth society, the former is working hard in science-related fields but have a fear of not achieving what the celebrities have, the latter is taking famous people as their models without realizing how they affected our society. Not only do young people take them as examples, but also, they simulate what is being shown in movies no matter how bad it is. For example, if an adolescent watched their best actor in a scene that contains violence, he or she will imitate it unthinking of it. Because they believe that their model is good and do not do bad activities. ------------------------------------------------------- To sum up, this essay outlined the position of celebrities in our community today and showed up what they represent in young people lives. In my opinion, there should be rules and principles to organize the work and the appearance of celebrities. This would help us create a conscious generation that can contribute to helping our world to progress. (343 words) Thanks!!
2. Dear Friends, Hope you will accept me as a new member in this forum. I have recently/just joined this forum to learn from the experienced members. I am Rajat Sharma from New Delhi, India and am preparing for IELTS Academic Test. I need to score minimum 8 in my writings for my education cum migration purpose. Therefore, I kindly request you to help me by providing feedback to my essay below. The essay is written by myself by creating exam conditions (On Paper) within the time limit of 40 minutes. Thanks! ********** You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.Sending criminals to the prison is not the best method of dealing with them. Education and job training more are better ways to help them. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. You should give reasons for your answer using your own ideas and experience. From the time immemorial, it has been a matter of debate how a criminal be punished. Of course, there are people who advocate one way or the other but in my view, we need to find a middle path to make sure that the punishment on the one hand, deters the potential criminal and on the other, it helps to reform the people involved in illegal activities. First of all, we need to differentiate between the crimes which shock our conscience and the minor ones. I strongly believe that punishment and in some cases, severe punishment is the only way out to deter the people committing crimes which are against life, liberty and humanity. What I mean by this is that we should adequately punish the wrongdoers when they are involved in heinous crimes such as gory killing, cold blooded murder, rape, arsons out of vengeance etc. In contrast to such views, I hold a slightly different opinion when the crimes are petty and born out of compulsion or some grave circumstances. That’s why I believe that the minor crimes like pick pocketing, thefts where the motive of commission of such crimes is to sustain one’s family should be treated differently. An opportunity to reform should be given to such person committing such minor offences. We cannot change our society by crowding our prison cells. Imparting education and providing quality jobs are prerequisites of reforming such people. Therefore, in my conclusion, I would like to summarise my viewpoint that education alone can help to move people away from the criminal world. The punitive measures should be adopted only in case of serious offences. (Total 273 words)
3. hello, this is the second time I am giving ielts exam. please check my essay and give me some suggestions as well. Some people believe that children are given too much free time. they feel that this time should be used to do more school work. How do you think children should spend their free time? Many parents have opinion not to give excessive free time to children because studies are more important, so they should concentrate more on their school work. There could be various reasons for this opinion, such as, competition in studies, bad peer company and so on. However, children do also need some free time to play and for extra activities because it is necessary for their mental and physical development. Why parents have such opinions? It is important to consider this question first. Parents are more worried about their little ones these days, because, study competition in schools and company of hooligan kids. They want their kid to perform best in every subject without being spoiled. Thus, mother and father, both try their child to get busy with school and homework. However, it is also important for parents to understand that only study no play can make jack a dull boy. If kids are forced to study all the time, this might hinder their physical and mental development. Children also need time to explore their minds to develop and refresh new thoughts and ideas. For example, many studious kids afraid to speak and mingle with other kids, which becomes a part of their personality later on. Therefore, parents will have to understand the value of free time in kid’s life. In my opinion, preparing a timetable is the best and easiest way for parents to utilise child’s free time in an effective way. They can distribute free time in indoor and outdoor activities. Nowadays, parents have many options for their kids to join. Children can join different sports activities, music and dance classes, and art and craft classes according to their interests. In the end, I would say students need free time to play and for other activities along with the studies. It helps them to refresh their brain to get back to work with full enthusiasm.
4. Q) Being a celebrity such as famous film star or sports personality – brings problems as well as benefits. Do you think that being a celebrity brings more benefits or problems? Ans) Celebrities are most popular icons in the world. Getting a celebrity status is not an easy job. The person who achieves highest level among all people by hard work known as celebrity. Undoubtedly, the famous people have gained lots of benefits that common man doesn’t gain. Although, some society individuals think that famousness brings lot of downsides to the people, I believe that it brings innumerable number if benefits such as money and social status. Celebrities are gaining lots of money in and around the work. They can earn lots of money with less amount of period compared to common people who are living in community. For example, Dhoni, A famous and popular Indian cricketer has gained 20000000 dollars money for an advertisement that he acted for a famous worldwide company. This was happened because of his fame in sports. This amount is not equivalent to a common school teacher whose pay is far less than him. It is clear that being a celebrity would have positive effect in their life and this is one of the two reasons that person can get as a celebrity. High level social status, the celebrities has acquired than a normal people. Celebrities are role models, they can motivate the people towards their success. For Instance, Amitabh Bachan, A famous well known person and popular Indian star has gained high status, by administrating a lot of shows and involved in many social activities. In conclusion, celebrities such as famous people have a lot of benefits such as economically sound and high level status. Therefore, I strongly believe that, being a famous personality people has got immense amount of advantages than a drawbacks. It is better said that if celebrity spends the money towards society growth.
5. Some people think that the teenage years are the happiest of our lives, while others believe that adult life brings more happiness. Discuss both views and give your opinion. Different stages in people's lives bring about significant experiences and bring joy to an individual. While others believe that it is in the teenage years where most people experience joy and happy memories, some think that it is during adulthood that a person truly feel happier and fulfilled. In this essay, I shall discuss both views and give my own opinion. Many people feel that because of the youth's carefree and high-spirited attitude, they get to experience new things and ventures in life. They argue that during this stage, young people meet new friends and experience with them exciting adventures for the first time. They also discover new talents and try new skills. For instance, in High school, the students are given the chance to join organizations which share their interests in music, hobbies and ideas. These personal encounters give them enjoyment and leave them with happy memories. On the other hand, some group of people are convinced that during the adult stage, individuals fulfill their dreams and experience the real joy and satisfaction. I hold this notion to be true. When people mature and becomes responsible enough, they are able to achieve their goals in life. For example, during this stage, people become stable in their job and help their families. Furthermore, this is the time when they start their own families and have their own children. Indeed, these experiences bring lasting joy and contentment. on the whole, it is true that exciting and fresh encounters of the Youth bring enjoyable memories but during adulthood an individual fulfill his/her dreams and feel satisfied and happy.
6. Some people believe that only pupils of similar interests should be given admissions in schools. Others are of the opinions that schools should be open to all children with varied interests. How far do you agree or disagree with the above views. Give your opinion in not less than 250 words. The notion that children are our future is universal. The prosperity of the next generation is the reason why so many people insist on improving the current educational system. This topic becomes an issue when society has to decide what is the best way to make this happen. Many agree that children with the same interests should attend the same school. This will give them the opportunity to study what they like and are good at. Furthermore, being surrounded by pupils with the same academic strengths gives room for a lot of friendly competition and therefore improvement. The downside of this type of educational system is that children would be exposed to only a few subjects. For instance, a highly artistic child that studies at an art school would be deprived of exploring more diverse areas of study such as mathematics, science or history that they may find appealing too. On the other hand, there is also a significant percent of children that are not interested in only one area of study. Their passions vary during their childhood and teen years, so forcing them to choose between different subjects that fascinate them would not always be in their best interest. Being able to delve into a greater diversity of subjects would give them the chance to figure out what they are passionate about. In conclusion, schools should guarantee that pupils will be studying subjects they enjoy and that they gain the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue a career in that are in the future. People are different, so there should be both specialized schools and schools with a more diverse timetable available to children depending on their learning rate and interests.
7. Topic-Even though Globalisation affects the world's economics in a very positive way, its negative side should not be forgotten.

Ans- Our world is becoming a small village as a result of globalisation. Globalisation affects our life in a positive way as well as negative way.

Many people hold the opinion that globalisation leads to brain drains. 8. Writing Task 2 (essay) topic: some parents let their children live in another country or a bigger city and study in a college. Is it a positive development? What are the reasons? Give examples and state your opinion. Nowadays, some young students are let to study abroad by their parents. However it has some negative psychological effects, it is totally is an effective improvement in their living skills. The aforementioned will be enlightened more. In the first place, both depression and anxiety can be mentioned as two worst effects of inhabiting and studying abroad especially during adolescence period. The most important reason is that youth have more sensitive spirits therefore they need more attention and support than adults. Moreover, studying can be a stressful process that creates more psychological pressure on students. As a result, students maybe faced with educational failure during their college. According to recent research that has been carried out in UCL University, educational performance of student mostly is being threatened by depression and anxiety. It is suggested by experts that young students especially who live independently should use relaxation techniques, do exercises and keep a close relationship with their parents to avoid detrimental aspects of going abroad. Aside from few negative effects, continuing education in a foreign city or country is a unique and perfect experience. Youth learn how to react to social challenges, how to treat people in real world and gain a great deal of knowledge about living methods. As they experience living alone, they have to solve their social and personal problems solitarily. Therefore, their mental abilities like social problem solving and self confidence are going to be improved. Not only social and psychological abilities will be influenced but also their economical and financial managing abilities will be organized more effective, and of course this is not all. To put the whole issue in a nutshell, I myself to a great extent agree with the idea of studying abroad because of the fact that its merits of considerably are more.
9. which introduction paragraph is the best for my IELTS essay topic?why? topic: Learning a foreign language offers an insight into how people from other cultures think and see the world. The teaching of a foreign language should be compulsory at all primary schools. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this view? (I) Nowadays the debate over whether or not students should be obliged to learn foreign language has sparked a great deal of controversy among people and educational psychologists. In spite of some beliefs that forcing elementary students to learn another language sophisticate them to know more about other nations' properties and give them a new approach to the world, many are of the opinion that we should pay more attention to some negative effects of this action. The above mentioned will be elaborated more. (II) Perception of nations' civilizations and beliefs can be improved by learning their languages. So, some experts believe elementary students have to learn other languages at schools whereas some others think it can confuse them and make some conflicts in their domestic beliefs and opinions. To cast more clarification on the offered points, the following seems necessary. (III) A new view to opinions and beliefs of other nations will be achieved by learning other countries languages. In spite of some people believe that elementary schools have to teach foreign languages, many are the opinion that it has some bad effects and should be started later. The aforementioned points will be enlightened more.
10. would you please get a grade out of 9 to my IELTS essay? i will be very appreciate if you correct errors. Writing Task 2 topic:Some people say that government should increase the tax on petrol in order to decrease traffic and pollution. Do you agree with this opinion? Explain the benefits and drawbacks. Nowadays the debate over whether or not government can reduce the contamination and traffic jam by getting more taxes from fuel, has sparked a great deal of controversy among people and scientists Although, others are of the opinion that indeed, it has some negative effects on economy, welfare and industries. The advantages and disadvantages of rising fuel prices will be discussed more. A very convincing argument in favor of increasing fuel price is that this strategy will decrease vehicles transportation that subsequently causes to reduce amount of emission fumes by cars and motorcycles. Cost of using private vehicle can be raised by more expensive fuel so, most of people will probably use public transportation and consequently traffic jam will be reduced. Moreover, increasing in fuel price can encourage academies, research institutes and companies to carry out more research on alternative fuels, renewable energies and vehicles performance and innovate more in these fields. Most of past’s inventions in vehicles and energy created when price had been increased like hybrid engines, solar energy and etc. On the other hand, fuel price rising can be an introduction to increase inflation rate. Because fuel use in all processes of manufacturing, maintaining, transporting and distributing of all kind of merchants. As a result, general price level increase and people purchasing power reduce. In addition, poor people’s welfare decrease intensely and most of peoples standard of living will be affected negatively. Moreover according to fundamental of Macroeconomics, fuel price has a strong relation with employment in an economy. Because when fuel price rises, industries benefits reduce and then they must lay off their workers to satisfy their stockholders. It seems the best solution to avoid negative impacts of fuel high price is that governments should impose an extra levy on private vehicles and industries that produce much more pollutants and spend this money to building new highways, roads and extend public transportation to reduce traffic. Finally, I believe governments can choose some more beneficial strategies than increasing fuel price to reduce contamination and traffic especially with controlling transportation via taxes and investing in urban infrastructure.
11. Topic: In many countries traditional food is changed to international fast food. This has negative effect on Families and societies as well. Do you agree or disagree provide reasons for your opinion. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In recent years, the debate over whether or not fast foods have influenced our life badly has sparked a great deal of controversy among people and nutrition specialists. In spite of some beliefs that these modern foods are more advantageous for our life, many are of the opinion that we should change our new habits in this field. A very convincing argument in favor of restricting modern foods is that they have negative effects on people's health. It is widely believed that fast food might be the main cause of some new increasing disease like fatness, blood pressure, Heart problems and some kinds of cancers. In addition, scientists claim that the high amount of fat and calorie in these kinds of foods are not appropriate for our modern life. Similarly, it is often said that the variety of fast foods are limited and it can lead to some problems due to the lack of vitamins and other essential elements. What is more, it is generally argued that fast foods might lead to several health problems owing to the fact hat the process of production of them often is not healthy. Another common point supporting conserving the traditional foods is that they can illustrate the culture of each nation. It is commonly suggested that it is necessary for all people entire the world to look after their previous traditions. Also, most people believe that our previous generations' food might be one of our cultural heritages. Furthermore, sociologists are of the claim that our future generations will need to utilize their fathers' experiences in each field. Besides, it is often argued that we can analyze so many different nations' behaviors and culture by studying their traditional skills like the ways that they have had for making food. On the other hand, it could be acceptable for people to prefer fast food than traditional ones owing to the fact that it can have some economical advantages. It is usually said that traditional food in most countries need more time and more money too. Moreover, many people state that nowadays they can not spend more than half an hour in preparing food for themselves or their families due to their busy jobs. Likewise, it could be claimed that fast food are available everywhere such as work places, schools, universities, underground railways, and shopping centers and etc. In a nutshell. Considering what has been discussed, it would be quite fair to state that the overall negative effects of fast foods overcome its advantages.
