Dear all, I am going to study consumer behavior. I got offers, positive news, or waiting list from the following schools. I checked their websites and Who went Where; I consulted 2 people in this area (I don't know many ppl in this area). So, I have some basic ideas about these schools. But, since this is such a big decision, I don't see it's a bad idea to collect more opinions or suggestions (especially for someone who is not familiar with US and its schools). Could you please do me a favor by ranking the following schools (e.g., A>B=C>D...), in terms of, say, placements (is there any other important factor that should also be taken into consideration?)? Hi everyone, I've been accepted to Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and wait listed at Johns Hopkins, Boston College, Virginia, and Iowa. From what I hear, if I get off the wait list anywhere I'll have to make a decision pretty quickly; so I'm trying to find out more about all of these schools beforehand. Right now I'm interested in Micro, specifically game theory, but I can also see myself becoming interested in public economics and industrial organization. Does anyone out there have any opinions on any of these schools? Thanks!

I did not know the current politics in Iowa until finishing the process. It costs me 100 bucks, the highest price among my schools !! Although Iowa does not decide whether to continue its PhD Program, it has kept application process until now without a sense of responsibility. Come and write to DGS. Pay our application fee back!!
