Is it worth investing one more year to have a math degree?
I am currently an economics major + math minor.
I will be taking most of the relevant math courses (calc12, lin alg 12, ode, pde, analysis12, real anal, num anal, topol12, etc.).
However if I invest one more year and take those less important math courses (algeb12, appliedmath, complex anal, geometric calculus, etc.) I can receive a B.S. in mathematics as well.
Would it be worth it to put in my time and money into getting a double degree in econ and math? or is just a minor in math enough?
