Hey every one, Just found out that I passed theNJ MPJE test, I thought I'll give u some advices that I learned from my experience . I did my whole training in a hospital pharmacy, never worked in a retail , so I have close to zero knowledge in pharmacy law. Here's the material I used Professor Cifaldi's pharmacy law book. Guide to pharmacy federal law by Reiss. NJ law 150 questions and answers from pharmacyexam.com. Pronto pass. I read the federal law book very quickly and concentrated on the scheduled controled substances , and did 200 questions out of the 300 at the end of the book. I then did the 150 question CD. This will enable u to go through Cifaldi's very quickly and u will know what are the important points that u have to stop at a read carefully. Pronto pass is a nice review and questions but its not enough alone. I hope this helps and good luck

I just gave my Naplex last Friday. Would like to share my experience. I finished my internship in end of Feb and started studying full time from Feb till mid-April. I used APHA, Rxqbank, Lange Q & A. Here are my thoughts of the exam. It is more difficult that I'd expected it to be. There are a lot of profiles, mainly on drug drug interactions, side effects. Dosage forms is very very important. As I've only worked in a retail pharmacy for 8 months, there are a lot of drugs which I'm not sure of their available dosage forms. So do spend some time on this. But if you have been in retail for some time, it'd be a piece of cake. As for the topics, I must say that the questions came from almost every topic in APHA, except biotechnology, kidney disease, organ transplantation, toxicology/bioterrorism. Do focus on mental drugs, cancer drugs and anti-HIV drugs. These cannot be ignored, especially brand names. Calculations: I had about 30-50 questions. They were not difficult. Just be careful of the units. Besides, read about immunizations. Other than multiple choice questions, there are 'select all that apply' questions. Math questions are mostly fill in the blank. Overall, the exam was difficult but doable. Know everything from MOA, side effects to interactions. Last advice is to manage time appropriately. My time was tight and I almost couldn't finish the exam. Reading and analyzing patient profiles is very time consuming. I have not got my results yet. I'm very very nervous. My next step is to take NJ MPJE. If anyone has advice on the study materials, please let me know, appreciate it :) Good luck everyone!
