I'm applying to some universities in USA for the masters program in computer science. And I'm currently halfway through my final year of B.E Computer Science. I'm worried that when I get my mid year results after sending out my applications, I might fail a course. If this happens (worst case scenario) what will happen to my applications? Will I have to send the mid year results to universities or just the final transcripts after course completion? Either way, will a fail now (even if i can pass it in the subsequent semester) get my acceptance revoked? (assuming I get accepted) Please help me, I'd like to be prepared and not just worried :crushed::dejected::p

Hey, i gave my gre twice. the first time i scored 1270(740+530,4.0) the second time in the new pattern...i scored quants...750-800 verbal...450-550 I have yet to give my toefl. my aggre after 6 semesters is 61% from MU. i have also done a 6 week internship in an IT firm and hav quite a few co-curricular activities too. i plan to apply for MS in CS for specialization on AI/Data Mining. I have shortlisted a few univ... SUNY Buffalo Univ of Colorado Boulder ASU UIC NYU Poly UTD Can u suggest a few univ that offer a gud AI/DM course and which would be better than any of the univ i hav mentioned above!

Basically my gre is screwed.I know 1140 is potentially a bad score. :( It was a shocker to me, i averaged 1300 on powerprep and other practice tests prior to exam. May be my nervousness added to the poor performance. And am in two minds regarding re taking gre as the slots available seem to be too late to apply early and considering the financial crunch. My profile is as follows: GRE (Q630 | V510) 1140 AWA - Awaiting TOEFL - Planning to take Anna University B.E (CS) 80% 12th 88% 10th 95% Technical Papers : Presented 1 paper at CSI (Computer society, India) regional conference. Presented few other papers at city colleges. 1 network based project Currently working on a research paper. Other publications : Non tech article in IT mag and other short story publications in national mags Extra curriculars: Vocal,dance. Work Experience: 2 + years in Datacom and Telecom. Wht are my chances in getting to the foll univs with financial aid: 1.Arizona State 2.Ohio State 3.UNC - Chapel Hill 4.Iowa State I wanted to apply to better univs, however my gre score put me off and felt these univs are practical for my profile post gre.
