I have misspelled my name in TOEFL iBT account. I found about it when I gave exam yesterday. How can I now change it. I asked the people at center but they said it does not matter much. How should I change my name now. I think it will be problem if my name will not match at universities I am applying to. Please Help!!! Thanks, Hardik Bansal

Hi, guys... I need to clear some doubts. In all of my academic certificates, the name is given like this "Md. Maksud-Ul-Kabir Rico". Due to some rules and regulations, I have to expend my first name "Md." to "Mohammad" in the passport (it looks like this "Mohammad Maksud-Ul-Kabir Rico" in the passport) but for the GRE exam, I have registered as "Md. Maksud-Ul-Kabir Rico (just as like in all of my academic certificates)". Would there be any problem?

Hi everyone, first time posting at a forum... I was about to register for a GRE in November, but noticed that the name that I register must be the same as my primary identification documents. I wasn't able to change my GRE account name, so I emailed ETS for advice. They informed me that I must give them a test registration date/confirmation number for them to look into my account, so I (foolishly) registered (and paid) for the test, thinking that once I hand them the information they'll do something about it. Once I gave them the information, all they told me is that since I 'already' registered, there is nothing they can do and I can only get a partial refund. I called ETS customer service and explained that I registered for the test only because they said they need the registration information when I asked them to change my account name. Their customer service was absolutely horrid. The only difference with my account information and my primary ID is my given name, since my account is under my English name and my ID is under a Korean name. Everything else (last name, address, picture, etc) are the same. Will this be an issue at the testing center?

Hi everyone, I mistakenly put down my incomplete name in GRE registration , and only came ti know about it on the day I had my test (although my date of birth and postal address match withthe ones on my passport) . I have two questions 1. Would my GRE score be accepted by universities considering GRE score sheet would be missing my middle name? 2. Is there any way I could get a letter from GRE officials declaring xxxxxx is the guy with the same date of birth and postal address as xxxxx yy and we allowed him to take the test on the given date ? Regards
