So I'm planning to apply to MA programs for the 2018 cycle, and I have the good fortune of having a connection through a colleague to a tenured prof at my top choice school, who has agreed to meet with me for coffee. I don't know whether he is on the adcomm, but I'm hoping this connection can help my chances. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to approach this, or examples of the sort of questions you would ask, were you in this situation?

Complete Profile: Edulix Intended specialization: Networks/Systems(/Security) This is my initial list: kindly evaluate so that I can refine it. I would like to apply at universities where the availability of post-MS job recruitment opportunities (career fairs, internships, etc.) is relatively better (I know it depends greatly on the student's acads, projects and performance, but still, as an upper hand w.r.t the univ.) NCSU NYU Columbia UFL Univ of Utah Ohio State Univ, Columbus Rutgers NEU Univ of California, Irvine UIC Arizona State University USC SUNY, Buffalo GMU Kindly suggest univs not on the list that you think I would want to consider. Please specify the univs where my average GPA could really hurt me.
