Hello Urch! I'm gearing up to apply to PhD programs and was wondering if anyone could share which list is best for program rankings? Texas A&M's, UTD, or another? Or if you have input on the reputation of the following programs for management/OB, that would be valuable as well: Arizona State CMU Tepper Duke Fuqua Michigan State USC Marshall University of Wisconsin All have good POIs, just curious what the reputations of these programs are in the community more broadly.

What are the factors to be considerd? For example, a professor at my university graduated from a very top management phd program, has around 10000 citations (relatively young), has a dozen of publications in the A-journals in the field, has been as one of the emerging scholars by SMS, and is an associate editor at SMS. I was wondering, what'd be the level of the prestige and reputation enjoyed by this professor? And how could I these criteria mentioned to judge the reputation and prestige of other professors? Thanks for reading!! I was told to come here to ask this question. Please help me out!!

Hi guys, My paper has been accepted by EEA and will be presented there next month (co-authored with two professors and I am not the presenter). I still have a couple schools that I haven't submitted my application for. Would it be worth it to write that the paper has been accepted by the conference on my CV? How is the EEA conference viewed in terms of quality and reputation? Thank you for your inputs.

Hi all, Going through the masters application process in Canada in the coming months. Have applied to 6 schools. While I consider myself to be a strong performer in academic Econ, I am definitely not convinced a PhD is right for me. So in that case, would a masters with a co op like Laurier or Waterloo make more sense in terms of my immediate employability after grad? Or would UBC/Queens still have an advantage (assuming I could get in) due to reputation even though lacking co op ? Any general advice is appreciated. Obviously there are other factors like funding and cost of living but just in general what are the thoughts on above ? Thanks G
