With application results coming in, what do people think is best to do if you get into a safety school, but not one of your top choices? Does it make sense to attend the safety, but re-apply to the top choice in future years? Or is that too much a risk of burning bridges because you will need to ask for LORs from the people at the safety school?

Hello everybody! I've been browsing the forum for quite a long time, but haven't been really on the active part until now. For many of you what I'm about to say will be the same old story, a problem that a lot of people have. But it's difficult to make up my mind and so I wanted to ask for your advice. I applied to 9 universities, was rejected by 8 of them that I wanted to go to. I was accepted by one safety school though. I really don't know what I should do at this point - go to the safety school or try hard and reapply in one or two years time. But if I'm to reapply, what should I do for the next couple of years? Thanks for all the advice.
