    First off, apologies for creating a new thread. I know I should probably post it in the Sweat Thread but I'm afraid that my message might just get lost in the stream of posts. It is really important for me, hence posting as a separate thread. Cornell is my dream university and what's quite strange is that I haven't heard back from them yet (Ph.D. economics). I think it's unusual as they have already sent batches of acceptances and rejections a long time ago. At this stage, I'm assuming I'm wait-listed and I'm trying to weigh my chances. I'd like to ask you whether any of you is in the same situation as myself. Also, is there anybody out there who is planning to reject their offer from Cornell in the near future? Thank you very much guys and once again, apologies for posting here.
