I think the placement for these two are comparable. The faculty at Booth is stronger, but it seems that the program size at Wharton is smaller and the culture at Wharton is more "caring". Which program would be a better choice? Any comments are much appreciated!

Hi guys, I wanted to solicit feedback on the reputation of Wharton's management program, specifically OB area. When I look for previous posts, I can only find discussion of Econ or Finance, so I thought I'd open this up to see if there are any hits. When I think about the feel of my interviews, research, and placement of other programs to which I applied, Wharton seems like the clear choice. What about faculty? Are they too star-studded to provide attention, or is this a misconception? Can any of the other programs contend (Kellogg, maybe)?

Wharton's one of the top business schools, including in the field of marketing. How come it doesn't have stellar placements? I noticed that Stanford and UChicago have much better placements, but Wharton is ranked better than UChicago. What do you think could be the reason for Wharton's not-so-amazing placements?

Hi all! I'm currently a rising sophomore at Penn, hoping to do a PhD in economics after college. I came into Penn in the arts and sciences school, intending to double major in mathematics and economics. I can also complete a Masters degree in Mathematics within my 4 years at Penn, which would leave me with a double major in mathematics and economics and a masters degree in mathematics before I actually go to graduate school. However I also got accepted into Wharton to pursue a dual degree with the arts and sciences school. If I did Wharton, I might have to forgo the Math Masters degree, as well as the BA degree in math. I would come out with a BS in Econ from Wharton, and a BA in econ from the arts and sciences school. I believe I can manage a GPA above a 3.8 if I did the Math masters. Given my goal is to do a PhD in economics, which option should I choose to do? Thanks everybody!

Just wanted to let people know that I got admits from Ross & Duke and I am currently waiting for HBS, Wharton & Chicago GSB. Similar to everyone, I also had lots of doubts about which essay editing service should be used. After my research about the various services available and some recommendations from my friends, I decided to go with [spammy link removed]. I used their Complete School Package service for all my schools and to provide the feedback - it was awesome. What makes them special is their professional approach and the fact that you get the essays edited directly from alums who were a part of the admissions committee at the school. Besides, compared to other expensive editing services, they are very reasonably priced and that is the reason I used them for all my school essays. In addition to that, I also used their interview prep service where I got to interact with the alums from each school and received real-time feedback on how to improve upon my answers for the interview. I would recommend [spammy link removed] to anyone who is aiming to get into the top B-schools in the US. You can reply to this thread to reach out to me if you need any more details about my experience with them or for guidance with the essays (now that I am free, I would like to help people out).
