goguma
Answer A: The words "conspicuous features" are the cue. The word that best relates to "conspicuous features" is recognize. I can "recognize" plants based on their "conspicuous features." However, it does not make sense to "trample" plants based on their "conspicuous features." (A) recognize (B) hoard © trample (D) retrieve (E) approach I choose C, but the answer is A. Please, explain. It's easy. since a plant is unpalatable (meaning it doesn't have a taste), so the animals who eat them for the first time recognize those plants in future through some other conspicuous feature. wasleys
since a plant is unpalatable (meaning it doesn't have a taste) Unpalatable doesn't mean there is no taste, it means there is an unpleasant taste.
