hekopeko
i need explaination about this question , and when we asked about what is undermines this argument then we have to looking for what kind of answer
Yevgen
Are you sure about the answer? Because I think that the correct one is B. You should look for evidence, conclusion and assumption. Ev+Assumption=Conclusion. Evidence here is that all the low-sugar have the same taste as original, and the same is stated about ow-fat. But the problem is that the consumption of sugar continues to rise and author concludes that the same will happen with low fat products. If you need to undermine you have to invalidate the argument somehow (invalidate the conclusion). You should find an answer that will make our conclusion (that all the low-fat foods won't effect our consumption of fat, because the same happened with low-sugar products). The only answer is B; if answer B is true, than our evidence (all the products taste the same) is not valid... consequently, argument is not valid... Answer E is tempting, but it supports the argument... we need to undermine it.
