Yucheng Jiang
Hey Everyone, I am currently taking the economics phd program, but one of the professor is too mean that he gives bad grade for most of the students in his class. So, my GPA in the PhD program is low, 3.2. I think some employers may look at the transcripts and GPAs, but one of my professor said that the PhD jobs are mainly focus on the quality of research, do you think so ? Thanks for your answer. One bad grade shouldn't ruin your GPA over 60 credits of coursework. Do well in your other classes and make sure to stay above 3.0. However, it seems to me that most jobs don't even request transcripts.
