tzurtak
Hello, I would be happy if someone could answer my question. Does the TOEFL minimum score is restrictive? That is, if I have high grades and good recommendations, but I got 99 in the TOEFL, whether my application will be examined by a program that want 100? Unfortunately I do not have time to take the test again. Is anybody know someone who had accepted to a program in a good university without achieving the minimum score? Thanks! fantinity
I was wondering about the same thing. I know that in lower-ranked programs (like top - 50+) they often close their eyes on low scores, but for higher-ranked schools it's better to hear from someone who's been through the process. On the good side, according to my notes, approx. half of top-30 requires between 84 and 95. A bunch of then also require exactly a 100, though. To be fair, a 100 is kind of low, it will depend on how 'minimal' their requirement is.
