Good luck to everyone! Do people know which schools usually release decisions for econ/business econ/public policy in January?

Last year, Maryland released at end of January; Stanford and Michigan also commonly release in January, though I believe neither of them did last year.

Theres a great post on the bottom of page 2 of last year's sweat thread where a user calculated the average time people heard back from all the top schools between 2006-2023, it's worth a look. Think its just for econ programs though

Thank you very much for the pointer! That's a great figure.

Stanford released results Jan 31 last year.

From the sweat thread last year, Harvard Business School sent interview invitation and Berkeley sent the 1st batch of rejection in January.

If anyone knows more information, do not hesitate to share thanks!

Any interviews out yet?

As far as I have seen (Gradcafe, a couple of people from my RA gig I know) nothing is moving in the US. Chicago Harris Political Econ last year had some interviews/rejections in the first week of January, but this year (as for Gradcafe) nothing. I totally forgot to apply there, it would have been a very good fit for me.

I had an offer from a strong European school back in December for their MRes + PhD program (it's easy to guess where based on this alone!), but most people are interested in the US only so not sure if it's useful information

I have received an email from MIT asking me to set up my account in notification platform. However, after I set up my account, it showed no entry in that interface. Is that expected?

I received that too and I saw the same yesterday. Now I see that they created a "submitted" application in Economics automatically.

Gradcafe reports acceptances at OSU (no mails, just acceptances on portal), MD college park and interview invitations at Cambridge in case anyone has applied there and wants to check
