Well, econ admission process is quite centralized (consider natural sciences work in labs and people contact the lab they want to work in before applying: some screening process happens there), and they receive a lot of applications.

I refresh too much too, but I understand them.

Is this for finance? I applied to the TIES phd

I received an interview earlier in the week. Sorry for the bad news and good luck with the rest of the application!

Has anyone received an interview invite for MIT Sloan IWER?

I applied to the same program. No news yet... It seems that there is very little info online about the admissions process for this program. I don't even know whether they do interviews or not...

Do you have any info on their usual timeline? I only know that they seem to release decisions in mid-Feb usually.

Usually late Jan/early Feb, but none should have been sent yet.

Looks like some of the UChicago Political Economy results are out. Do you guys know how many students they have in a cohort? I can only see 2 or 3 online

I think their site has all the students enrolled. I think the program started in 2021, and there are on average 2 people per cohort (I am not sure whether they took in more people who failed quals though, but I suspect they would be not more than 1 per cohort). Very small program, but it makes sense, it's quite niche and ultra focused on game theory

There is a George Washington University Economics rejection on gradcafe. Can anyone confirm?

Interesting. I received an email calling for missing application materials few days ago, so I don’t know if they’d be sending out rejections already.
