Would it be of any use emailing the head of admissions detailing my interest and other offers? Thanks for any advice (and sorry if off-topic). Quote

Your post made me go and check my application, and it now has Business Administration PhD. But still says under review. Would love to know if anyone else has any insight into this. It seems like a rejection from Berkeley's econ PhD program, but how much longer would I have to wait for the business administration phd? Quote

For reference, I actually emailed the admissions office a while ago: “MA and PhD admission decisions will be made separately, and PhD applications are still under review. We are aiming to make PhD decisions between March and end of April.” So I think the international pool is coming out later as unfortunately it’s much more competitive.
