Erin
I hate to talk about the weather, but it's been cold almost the whole month of July here in San Francisco. Today's not looking to be an exception. :(
Erin
Ah, here's a little game I saw on another forum. I ask a question, you answer, then ask your own. Here goes (start with something relatively easy): Pepsi or Coke?
EEPHDWANNABE
Hate carbonated drinks. Neither! They taste the same anyway.
EEPHDWANNABE
It's been unexpectedly pleasant(weatherwise) in West TX. Usually hot as (*^(*.
wasleys
Here it's hot (for us), humid and thoroughly unpleasant. Storms threatened tonight.
wasleys
Talking of the weather (allegedly the forte of the English) have you come across this site? It can give an hourly forecast. It opens for Europe but covers all of North America and the Atlantic. The interface is a little clunky, but if you play around with the underlined links and the drop-down menus you can get good local detail. eagle
Hey anyone who may know- what is the meaning of the thumbsup sign to the right of post headings- in post lists? Also- some of the posts are preceded by blue envelopes, some by red envelopes.. some have an arrow etc.. I feel quite lost with all the new stuff. One good thing I discovered- is that if the mouse comes against a post title it displays the contents of the original post.. thats cool! eagle
ok- I got it when I edited the above post:) The thumbsup is an icon selected by the person who writes the post. I generally use the quick reply format- hence havent seen all of that.. still have the question about red/blue envelopes...

The thumb up at bottom left is to add a reputation point to the poster (I think). Red = contains new post. Blue = no new post. Arrow = thread you have contributed to. wasleys
Just discovered that at forum level if you click on the number of replies in a thread you get a league table of posters in that thread. Go and try it for this thread.
