brumblerose
Hi, everybody, I just wanted to ask if you have any recommendations for a short-term preparation for the GMAT. How much time is generelly required to prepare for the exam? I have only a month to prepare for my desired school. Thank you all in advance! Erin
Difficult (or impossible) to say; there are many factors involved. If you can tell us a bit more about yourself, we might be able to help.

brumblerose
Dear Erin, Thank you for your reply! I am just starting my GMAT preparation and it seems like this forum will be extremely helpful :). I m glad I found it. I am trying to make a study plan for myself but I wonder how much time I need to prepare for the exam. I would like to register in advance before all dates are closed and that is why I have to plan the time I will spend studying from now on. I abandoned my plans to apply for the coming September semester since it is too late already, but I will certainly make it for the Fall 2007 deadline, which is December for most of my chosen schools. Do you think that a time span of about 2 months would be sufficient to get a good score on the exam (above 700-720)? I would like to take the exam in early September so that I have time for essay-writing and the rest of the application by December. What do you think? Looking forward to hearing from you and anyone else !
