1a. The exam is in 2 parts with a 30 min mandatory break. 125 questions per part . You can go back and review your answers only after you complete all questions.

1b. 250 questions, 390 minutes.the time was more than enough, if you know the answers!! I had time to review the ones that I flagged which was half of them! Don't worry about time! Was enough. Part two is just clinical and management!

2. APhA Book = Important but No enough, especially in Last exam.

3. CPR = For the Win. Best book and highly Advised, especially after yesterday's exam

4. Manan Management Theory & 500 Qs Important.Manan 1000 Qs are import. too if you have time.

5. Other sources for Management = CPR & APhA

6. There were Calculations, but basics and easy if you have good understandings, e.g. concentration, infusion rates and half life.

7. No brand names or doses, but clinical / laboratory values are very important. So try to memorize important lab values.

I took the April 2014 last monday. My advise to all of you, concentrate on the APhA Complete review on FPGEE. Majority of the questions i encountered in this exam, was exactly i have read in the APhA book. I should have read this book more. Wasted my time with Mannan Shroff books and Shargel Complete Pharmacy review book.

The first part of the exam (first 125 questions where mostly basic and pharmaceutical sciences questions),a couple of questions on medicinal chemistry and clinical pharmacokinetics and a couple of simple calculations questions. Suprisingly, i only encountered 2 or 3 questions on pharmacy law, management, admin and social.

The second part of the exam is majority clinical, there were a lot of patient profiles and pharmacology, drug adverse reactions and laboratory values. There are no trade names asked, all drugs mentioned in their generic/chemical names.

Time is not a problem, so make sure to flag those items you are not sure of your answer,so you can review it before the end.
